The aim for our site is to provide information and perspectives about the world of investing. The Stock Trend Investing audience is in particular interested in how to invest their savings in simple but effective ways.

If you can contribute to this, we welcome your guest posts. Our preference goes to writers who can contribute on a regular basis, say once in the month or two months or so.

We do not accept guest posts from commercial link builders (check our advertise options). Guest posts are intended for other bloggers and writers who publish their articles.

Here are our guidelines for guest posts

• The topic should be related to investing and be of interest to our audience (it is us who is judging this; and this is not up for discussion). Please e-mail me with proposed topics if in doubt.
• Articles should be well-written, informative, must be original, and should not have been previously published elsewhere.
• Articles shall not promote any other websites or products; not even your own. Just write good content and the audience will follow your links.
• Articles shall be at least 500 words long.
• Make sure the article does not contain any spelling and grammatical errors. Use a spelling checker. Write the article and leave it for a day. Read and correct it the next day before sending it to me.
• Include some relevant sub-headlines that help the readers to scan through the article.
• Feel free to include one link back to your own web site within the content. The link must be to a relevant article with an anchor text that is appropriate for both the guest post and your own article.
• Adding relevant links to authoritative articles is fine and encouraged. It is also fine to add links to relevant articles on my site.
• No affiliate links.
• Please include a one-liner as your introduction. This will be shown at the end of the article and can include 1 link back to the home page of your personal site/blog using the title of your site/blog and 1 link to your RSS feed or Twitter feed.
• We reserve full editorial and approval rights, including removing your link(s) and adding our own links to the article.
• You’re free to repurpose your content at earliest 3 months after we have published it.
• All articles are subject to review and can be modified without notice.
• Please send articles in a Word document or TXT file.

Follow these guidelines and send your guest post to “contact @ stocktrendinvesting.com” (without the spaces). I will let you know if and when we will post it within 3 weeks. Within this 3 week period, you cannot offer the article to anybody else to publish it or publish it yourself.

In your email, please let us know as well what your Facebook, Twitter and Google+ accounts are that you will use for promoting your own guest blog post. We will link to it in our social media and expect you to do the same. If you are proud on what you have written, that should not be an issue.
