Market Timing Mutual Funds

Market timing for mutual funds is crucial for being successful with investing in mutual funds. Stock Trend Investing is focused on giving market timing signals for investors in mutual funds and index funds.

Different market timing systems have different timing horizons. Some look at the timing within a few hours, others look at the market timing within a few days or weeks. Stock Trend Investing considers the longer term trends that are expected to last a few months or even a few years.

Members of the Stock Trend Investing community review their positions only once per month. This is especially suitable for people who cannot or do not want to spend every day or week a certain amount of time on their investments.

What market timing is needed for a particular mutual fund depends of course on the equities that this fund has invested in. Is the fund focused on a specific region, sector or company size? More important is if it has invested in stocks or on bonds.

Stock Trend Investing provide market timing signals for mutual funds and index funds that have invested in stocks, not in bonds. We, however, do not provide market timing for individual mutual funds. Our market timing signals are called Trend Expectations and are based on the major stock market indices.

Our Trend Expectations indicate if the expectation is “Up”, “Down” or “Unclear”. These expectations are published monthly by region. They are used as market timing signals for investments in mutual funds, ETFs and index funds that follow closely the underlying stock market indices.

In the Gold Member section of our website, we publish every month the updated Trend Expectations and we teach our members how to apply Stock Trend Investing.
